The Canal
As the name gives away, Little Venice has a glorious canal and this is the ideal location to socialise and relax from the stress of modern London life. If you want a place where you can have fun or tune out the world, everything you need is on your doorstep.
The Canal Walks
While the area beside and around the canal is stunning, offering a great way to relax and socialise, the path that leads from the canal, all the way to Camden, is an excellent excuse for a walk if the weather is nice. With the towpath running through the back of ambassadorial property in Regents Park and touching on London Zoo, it is a stunning way to spend a few hours.
Beautiful buildings
If you love grand buildings, you will appreciate the white stucco-styled homes that are found around Regent’s Park Canal. With many stunning mansion style buildings in the local area, you can easily spend a day wandering around and staring at the buildings.
Secret gardens
We all love a secret or two and there is an abundance of communal gardens that you can’t see from the street. These gardens are maintained to the highest standard and you can have a picnic, barbecue and relax with friends. It is a great place for children to play and if you love health and fitness, you are able to do your exercise routine in peace.
The food
Little Venice is not just about the canal, as you look out on to the stunning view, you can enjoy some of the best food in London from a wide selection of restaurants and gastropubs. No matter what you are in the mood for, there is going to be something that will set your taste buds tingling.
Say it with flowers and other boutique style stores
One of the best things about Little Venice is that there are so many darling little shops providing a personal touch to your shopping routine. Yes there are big brand names in Clifton Gardens but whether you are looking for a beauty salon, a florist, butchers and local produce, you will find that there is more than enough to choose from in Little Venice.
You can stay fit
After you have enjoyed the stunning food that is on offer in Little Venice, you will want to stay fit. With Regent’s Park close by and the Paddington Rec, there are plenty of options for you to stay fit in the open. However, with yoga centres, Pilate’s classes and all manner of exercise clubs opening up, you will always find a way to stay in shape without getting bored.
Free parking at the weekend
If you are looking to convince your friends that this is the place to visit at the weekend, the free parking is always going to be an excellent option.
You will have great company
The BBC recording studio in Maida Vale has maybe had an impact on the local residents but wouldn’t you want to live in an area that has had people like Kate Moss, Paul Weller, Chrissie Hynde and Mary Portas as residents?
